1959年に始まったアメリカのテレビドラマ『ミステリー・ゾーン』（原題：The Twilight Zone）のなかからバーナード・ハーマンさんが作曲した7つのエピソードを集めたCDです。個人的には、フジテレビ系列の番組『世にも奇妙な物語』や週刊少年ジャンプの漫画『アウターゾーン』などがこのドラマの影響を強く受けているように思います。
歌詞は一切入っていません。また、あの有名な『トワイライト・ゾーン』のテーマソングはアラン・ポールさんによる曲なのでこのCDには収録されていません。ジャケットは、1枚目のCDのトラック40～51までのエピソード「みにくい顔（原題：Eye of the Beholder）」ですね。
このCDから数曲が、東京ディズニーシーのタワー・オブ・テラー周辺のBGMとして使用されています。
とってもいいCDだからか価格がわりと高くなっているので、CDを手に入れたいというわけでないならダウンロード版（試聴リンクのやつ）のほうがいいかもしれません。
